WHAT IS THE NATIONAL GUEST REGISTRATION FORM?
The National Guest Registration Form is a form that your property or hotel must present to the guest at the time of check-in, asking them to fill in and sign certain data, such as name, profession, nationality, among others.
The application of the FNRH is mandatory for all lodging facilities in Brazil.
According to Decree No. 7,381, of December 2, 2010, which regulates the Tourism Law No. 11,771/2008, the daily movement of guests must be declared through the National Guest Registration Form.
It is the obligation of the establishment to keep a copy of this archived in digital format.
However, it is not enough just to have the form and request that it be filled in at the time of the guest's entry.
The law requires that these data from the guest registration form be forwarded to the responsible body within the established deadlines.

Since the Tourism Law required the submission of the National Guest Registration Form, a lot of paper has been lost along the way.
Thus, with the increase in technologies and the event of the 2014 World Cup in Brazil - in which the country would be about to receive a large volume of tourists - the Ministry of Tourism took as a measure, the implementation of the National Guest Registration System in all Brazilian municipalities.
According to the MTur, the aim is to modernize and make the collection of statistics on tourism in the country more efficient.
The Bed and Breakfast model, or in Portuguese Bed and Breakfast, is a residential establishment, in which its owners offer the guest a room to stay, with or without breakfast, in exchange for a certain amount.
This shared hosting model has gained strength in recent years, mainly with the spread of the Airbnb application.
